Advocacy 2 - LGBTQ Community

I am an advocate for the LGBTQ community. I have family and friends in this community, this is one of the reasons why it is important to me. I want what is fair for each and every person, including my students. This means in the classroom, at work, in a grocery store, in the gym, etc. No one should be made to feel like an outcast or they don't belong. You don't have to be in the community to be an advocate or show your support. I became an advocate to help be the change. I want my friends and family who are in the community to know I stand by them 100% and want them to have the same possibilities like anyone else.
