Advocacy - Ending Domestic Violence

I am an advocate for ending domestic violence. I witnessed things like this as a child that I would never wish on anyone. This is something I feel strongly about, it happens every day behind closed doors. I became an advocate so I could be the help that I never recieved. We need to learn how to be more aware and know the signs, and also create a space for those who need help. Domestic violence is not limited to just spouses, it can happen to children as well. It is not always physical either, mental abuse has the same effects and is just as harmful. It is not talked about as much as it should be. I became an advocate to use my voice for those who don't have one.
