What hours can I contact you about questions or concerns? M-F 3:30 - 7:00.

What can I do to support banned literacy at home? Pick the books that are banned, read them first, then decide if you want your child to participate in reading them!

How can I help my child with their work at home? Create a homework plan, homework space, and praise and encourage when necessary.

What authors will be covered in your class? Gary Paulsen, J.K. Rowling, Mike Lupica, Jason Reynolds, Ann M. Martin, April Henry, James Patterson, and Veronica Roth.

How much technology time will students get during class each day? During my class period each day students will get 30-45 minutes of technology time.

What is your late work policy? I will accept late work a week after the assingment is due, after that the grade will be entered in as a zero.

What is your cell phone policy? Students will be asked to keep phones in their bags unless otherwise specified. If it starts disrupting class, it will be taken for the remainder of the class period and put inside my desk.

Do you offer extra credit/bonus points? I offer extra credit at the end of the semester and bonus points available for every assignment.

What is your grading scale? A = 100 - 90, B = 89 - 80, C = 79 - 70, D = 69 - 60, F = 59 - 0

What tutoring options are avaliable through the school? After school tutoring options are available as well as student tutors on campus who can make home visits if needed.
