AUP Explanation

              The reason I encourage a home acceptable use policy is because it has been proven that home guidelines, regarding schoolwork, has proven to have a positive influence on student performance. Having similar rules at home and at school give a sense of unity between the parent and the teacher that the student will recognize and respect. It also can give a student more stability when transferring from in class work, to homework. Placing rules into effect tend to enhance performance in school, create an even greater sense of responsibility, and eliminate distractions. I have created a template that is optional to use for at home guidelines.
