Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
An Acceptable Use Policy is an agreement/contract created between the students and teacher about the use of technology. A Home AUP is an agreement created between the child and parent(s)/guardian(s). An Acceptable Use Policy is a way for the students to be held accountable for rules and guidelines for technology.
I encourage you to create your own rules for technology and internet within your own home. In the classroom, we practice our rules to keep us safe when using the internet and technology. I have created a Template to guide you on your very own AUP for home.
