Q. Where can I find
homework assignments? A: Homework can be found here. It will be updated as homework is assigned and will have the due date posted with each assignment. Q. When will report cards be shown or sent? A. Report cards will be shown or sent at the end of every nine weeks. Q. How can I contact you? A. You may contact me at tiffany_west@smail.astate.edu or you may reach me by calling or texting me at (555)-555-5555. If it is emergent and I do not respond in the time tha tyou need, you may call the school at (870)-933-5850. Q. How can I keep up with what is going on with my child's class and what they are learning? A. I use the Class Dojo app. If you need access to the code, please contact me and I will get it to you. Q. May I bring cupcakes, cake, or snacks for my child's birthday? A. You certainly can. We encourage celebrating your child as much as possible. We do ask that you keep allergies in mind when making or purchasing anything that the students will consume. Please let me know when you plan to do this, so I can prepare my class. Q. What is one way that I can do to help my child improve in their school work? A. I am always happy to help with anything that I can. There are several websites that can help with most of the students needs. Click here to see the ones that I have posted. However, if you think that your child need additional help, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do all that I can to help. Q. What do I need to do if my child misses school? A. If your child missed one day, you may send a note with your student and we will get it to the office so they may be excused. If your child is going to be missing an extended period of school, you will need to contact me, so we can set up a plan for you child to continue with schoolwork. Q. How is learning personalized in your classroom? A. Assessments will be done on each students that is in my classroom. This will allow the oppurtunity to see where the student is academically. I can then set up a plan specific to the child's needs. Q. Can I eat lunch with my child? A. Absolutely! We encourage parents to come and lunch with their little one. The students get so excited when they are able to chare their friend and school work with their family. We even have a designated area for you. Q.What am I not asking, but should be? A. The one question that parents could ask more is how to become more involved in their child's school. I know that everyone is busy at times, but being involved is a big part of helping the success of the student, even if it is cutting out figures for an upcoming projects. That is something that can be sent home with the students and it can be implemented as a family. |
