Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a learning disability that affects the area of the brain that controls a variety of language skills. There are many different forms of dyslexia and each of them can take a toll on the student's learning abilities. Dyslexia is not a shameful condition. Students and parents should not be ashamed of a dyslexia diagnosis. A correct diagnosis could radically change a student's school experience. Students with dyslexia are not dumb or incopitent, they simply just need assistance in order to complete certain tasks. Help me to help your students by keeping an open mind and remembering that dyslexia is not a shameful thing, if they truly have dyslexia then they need to be diagnosed so that they can receive the help that they need.
