Copyright and Fair Use

Copyright: Copyright means that you are not allowed to copy something because it is protected by laws. These laws state that only the person who created the item and people that they give permission to can use the information or products that they have made. Copyrighting will not be tolerated in my classroom. If you wish to read more about copyrighting I have linked a website about it below.

Fair Use: Fair Use is a part of copyright law that states that there are some things that you do not have to get permission from the creator (that has copyrighted their product) in order to use it. For example, if you are teaching or quoting word for word sometimes you do not have to contact the creator. Violations of fair use will not be tolerated in my class. For more information I have attached links that explain fair use in more depth.
