Parents/Guardians,

            Our AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) is designed to let the children know what is acceptable in class and what’s not acceptable. I’ve sent this home to for you to go over with the child. It is important that they understand the rules of the classroom. As a mother, I find that working with the teacher is very helpful. This is why I recommend setting up your own AUP system. If your child knows what is expected of them at school is also expected at home, they are more likely to follow the rules at both places. Now I completely understand that at home children need to unwind, but structure is also very important. Your rules might not be as strict as mine and might have different kinds of consequences, but they will still get the idea of the structured setting. If it is helpful, I will supply a template for which you can outline your AUP. I hope you find it helpful!
