Government transparency is so important because citizens of a country deserve to know what is being down within the government. This should be done at the state level as well as presidential level. As voters, everyone deserves a right to know who and what they are voting for. Once that person is elected, the transparency should continue as reelection will come and citizens deserve to be able to make educated choices based on what they have saw the elected person do through their time in the designated position.
