Differentiated Instruction

What is Differentiated Instruction?

More about Differentiated Instruction

Differentiated Instruction is basically when a teacher tailors her content, teaching styles, and learning environment to meet the individual needs of all her students. We all know that everyone learns differently and not everyone has the same interests or needs. When a teacher uses differentiated instruction, she really pays attention to those individual needs and ensures that every student is learning and engaging with the material in the classroom. I am very passionate about this issue because I want to see a world where everyone loves learning and has the resources available to become the best version of themselves possible. I will do my best as your child's teacher to tailor my teaching styles to fit your child's learning needs rather than forcing them to fit a box or standard that society thinks every 2nd grader should "fit into." I hope you will click the links above to learn more about differentiated instruction and see why I am so passionate about it!
