How can I contact you?

 I can be reached in our class dojo if you have downloaded the app, my email is  lindsay.harrison@smail.astate.edu, you can reach the school at 870-333-5555 and you can text me during school hours if needed at 870-333-3333

 

What rules do you expect students to follow?

My rules and expectations are listed on the student-parent contract that you and your child signed at the begginning of the year, however if you still need that information they can be found here

 

How do I know what is going on in the classroom?

You can locate our classroom newsletters here which has what events, assignments, and activities we will be doing for the month.

 

Where can I find the school calendar?

The monthly and yearly school calendar can be located here

 

What will my student be having for lunch?

The monthly school lunch menu can be located here

 

What happens if my student is absent?

Please notify me or the school that your child will be absent and have them bring a note the next day they return.  Any assignments for the day can be found here so your child can stay caught up and if you have further questions about our district's absentee policy that can be found here

 

How can I get involved in the classroom?

We have plenty of opportunities to help out in our classroom, whether it is for a party or field trip! Please let me know in advance if you would like to help out!

 

Can I eat with my child during their lunch time?

Ansolutely! You just need to make sure you check in through the office first and then meet us in the cafeteria to enjoy lunch with your child!

 

Can I bring treats for my child's birthday?

Food is always welcome in my classroom! Feel free to bring food or treats for your child's birthday, but please make sure they are just needs to be nut free!

 

What do we do if school is out due to weather?

Students will have an AMI or Alternative Methods of Instruction packet sent home to cover days students are out due to weather.  Stay tuned for more information by checking out our facebook page whenever there is a snow day, etc.
