Hunger Awareness
In Northeast Arkansas 19.4% of of people do not where the next meal will be coming from while 74,090 face food insecurity including 23,610 children. 1 in 4 children are at risk for hunger and 1 in 5 seniors face the threat of hunger. These statistics are mind blowing especially with it being just a portion of Arkansas. My goal is to make sure no child or student goes hungry and that they will always have a way to find food.
