Recommended Youth Literature

Literacy is a very important part of success in today's society. In US schools, over 60% of youth are not reading on grade level. There are many reasons that a student can be behind in reading. There are various reading disabilities that can impact students, plus the fact that today’s typical students haven’t been exposed to print books as much as students were in the past. The best way to improve literacy is to simply read more books. Below are some recommended books for my students and websites that explain more about reading disabilities.
