Importance of Reading to Children
By reading to your young child, even
while they’re an infant, you are teaching them the importance of literature
and to appreciate language. Through listening to you read to them,
children’s imaginations are stimulated. They also learn skills such as how
to hold a book and that sentences are read left to right. While it’s
important, don’t be stressed if you miss a day. Just pick up the reading
schedule where you left off.
