Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the act of using another person’s work, and taking the credit for it like you came up with the idea on your own. It is very important that we know what plagiarism is so that we can avoid it at all costs. Plagiarism is the same as stealing. When people plagiarise, they are stealing someone else’s thoughts and information. You can even be kicked out of college for plagiarising! In my class, I have a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism! This is because I want my students to know how important it is to do their own work, not to copy someone else’s assignments or thoughts, and give credit where credit is due.
