1. What is the best way to contact the teacher?
Answer: You can contact me via email: katie.medine@smail.astate.edu or phone: (870) 555-0347. I check my email everyday, so that would be the best way to contact me if you have access to your own email address.
2. Where can I find my homework, and when is it due?
Answer: All homework will be posted here. The due date will be listed on each homework assignment.
3. What is for lunch?
Answer: You can view the lunch menu for the nine weeks here.
4. When will my child take the ACT Aspire test?
Answer: All ACT Aspire Tests will be taken in April. You can view the April calendar and see when your child will test based on his grade.
5. When will report cards be issued?
Answer: Report cards will be issued during the last week of every nine weeks.
6. How can I stay informed about what is happening at school and my child's classroom?
Answer: There are multiple ways to stay informed! You can check the class information, school calendar, additional announcements, and newsletters.
7. When is the best time to meet with my child's teacher?
Answer: My planning period is 10:30am to 11:30am, Monday through Friday. I also stay after school until 4:30pm everyday. If you would like to meet with me, you will need to email me at least three days before you are wanting to meet.
8. Can I bring a cake/cupcakes/snacks for my child's birthday?
Answer: Yes, absolutely! We love to celebrate birthdays! You will just need to email me at least three days before so we can plan accordingly.
9. Can parents/guardians volunteer to help on field trips with the class?
Answer: Yes. You will need to email me at least a week before the field trip so we can make sure we have enough seats and lunch for everyone.
10. How can I check my child's grades?
Answer: Grades will NOT be given via email. However, you may call or set up a meeting with me to receive your child's grades.
