Copyright Information

It is important that we know and understand copyright laws, so in our class we have several lessons that focus on copy right laws and why they are important. Some things that parents can do at home is discuss the assignments we work on in class. Important things to know about copy right laws are:

• In general it is illegal to do any of the following to any piece of work that is not your own.

  1. Make copies of work

  2. Distribute copies of work

  3. Perform the work publicly  (such as films, plays, or music)

  4. Display work publicly

  5. Make modifications or adaptations
