Parent involvement is one thing I am very passionate about for my class to succeed. Parents truly do need to be involved with their child and their child’s education, whether that is within and outside of the school. Within schools, parents can help with classroom parties, volunteer to read to classes, help out teachers by printing out copies, etc. Outside of the school grounds, parents can be involved by communicating frequently with their child’s teacher and staying up to date on what is going on in the classroom. They can also be very influential if they work with their child instead of having their child just do work or things on their own, especially at such a young age.
