Online safety is one of my main priorities as your child’s teacher. My first goal is to keep my students protected. There are many ways to stay safe online. First and foremost, do not give out personal information. Make your password unique to you and fill it with capital letters, lowercase letters, punctuation marks, special characters, numbers, and whatever else it will let you put. The more unique it is, the harder it will be to guess. Do not put personal information in your password. Turn off your location, and never save any social security, credit card, or bank account information to your computer. Be aware of what to look for! Clues for this can be sketchy messages, unprofessional looking websites, and the need for any personal information like your social security number.
