Mental Health

Mental health has become more of a concern these past few years, but it needs to be highlighted even more. We forget that students can become overwhelmed, stressed, and anxious with the amount of school work or activities they have. If a student is not in the right frame of mind, then they cannot become the best they can be. If a students mental health seems to decline, then all adults involved in that childs life needs to become proactive in helping them. If your student is becoming more anxious or stressed, then allow them to have a mental break. This means they can have a night off of activities or homework, have a family game night, or they can get into exercise. On my part as the teacher, I will provide breaks in homework or more classwork so they can work on themselves at night. For more information, you can read about mental health from the two websites provided below.
