Hunger

Child hunger has become an epidemic here in the United States. More children everyday are coming to school hungry which is affecting them physically and mentially. Children are not able to concentrate in the classroom if the brain is not getting enough nutrients every day. Hungry kids are also more likely to miss or skip school because they have fallen ill or are suffering mentally due to their living conditions. Child hunger is happening to students of different ages, races, and backgrounds. I have provided websites, so you can learn more about child hunger and how to decrease this epidemic.
