Online safety is about being safe while having access to the internet. Students need to have protection against the harms and risks that come with having access to the internet. Online safety allows students to become protected from personal information becoming public and unsafe conversations with strangers.
You can follow these steps on how to become safe while online:
1. Do not give out personal information to others.
2. If someone has made a negative or inappropriate comment, tell an adult.
3. Do not download anything without your parents or teachers permission.
4. Browse the internet safely. Do not click on sites that you are not familiar with.
