Plagiarism
Plagiarism will not be tolerated in the classroom. From
Plagiarism.org: “All of the following
are considered plagiarism: turning in someone else's work as your own,
copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit, failing to
put a quotation in quotation marks, giving incorrect information about the
source of a quotation, copying so many words or ideas from a source that it
makes up the, majority of your work, whether you give credit or not”
Plagiarism is taken very seriously in my classroom. You wouldn't want
someone to pretend that they put in your hard work, would you? It's easy to
avoid plagiarism if you complete all assignments using your own thoughts!
It's okay to research and refer to outside sources, but never pull directly
from something unless you give credit to the author/artist/composer/etc.
