Meet the Teacher
Hello, students and parents! My name is Ellie Busby and I am so excited to be joining the 4th grade team at Richland Elementary! I am thrilled to be your teacher, and I am looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and adventure!
I love to teach, and my daily goal is to make our classroom a happy, safe, and fun place to learn. I have high expectations that all students in my class will show academic growth no matter what their starting point is. I am very excited about this year and cannot wait to learn more about you and your child, but first I'll tell you a little about myself.
I have lived in West Memphis, Arkansas my entire life. I am a graduate from Arkansas State University with my Bachelors of Science in Mid-Level Education with a focus on Language Arts and Social Studies. My sweet dog RaeRae is the absolute light of my life. I love to spend free time with my family and friends or reading a good book.
