Desktop Tools
We will be using some differing desktop tools throughout the semester including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Provided below will be some examples of each tool in use. Microsoft Word will be used for more than the creation of writing, as we will be also be using it for informational probjects that revolve around or specific content. Excel will be primarily used for tracking information by myself, whether gradebook, attendance, or even statistical data for our class. PowerPoint will be used by myself for the creation of presentations to be used alongside our classroom lecture, readings, and other handout materials. The students may be asked to use this tool as well for the creation of an end-of-term presentation over their selection of a provided list of topics.
