Copyright and Fair Use

• Copyright is something that protects the creator of content by giving them the say as to who can copy, alter, or redistribute their original work. The general assumption should be that all content has a copyright and correct referencing should be used.

• Fair use typically refers to exemptions made on coyprights, which allow for the use on them in term to referencing or critiquing the original work of the author.
