Immunizations
Preventable disease outbreaks are at an all time high 
in the United States due to the spread of misleading and false information 
preventing parents from vaccinating their children. Herd immunity will only work 
if everyone that can be vaccinated is vaccinated. It is our responsibility as 
parents to vaccinate our children in order to protect the members of our 
community that can't be vaccinated due to medical reasons. The most common 
misconception about vaccinations is that they cause autism. The study that this 
claim originated from has now been discredited and the doctor who performed it 
has had his medical license revoked, but they damage has been done and the 
misinformation has been spread. For accurate and evidence-based information on 
immunizations and their benefits, I've provided a few websites that may be
