Plagiarism is the “wrongful appropriation”
and “stealing and publication” of another author’s “language, thoughts,
ideas, or expressions” and the representation of them as one’s own original
work.
Consequences of Plagiarism
1.
First Offense- Student will be reminded of
what plagiarism is, then be offered the chance to redo the assignment
2.
Second Offense- Student will be given a zero
for the assignment.
3.
Third Offense- Student will be given a zero,
a parent will be called and sent to the office.
