Acceptable Use Policies
Classroom AUP:
This year we will often utilize our resources of computers and iPads by incorporating them into our learning. We will go over appropriate behavior and how to properly use features on the computers and iPads. Students will be educated on how to handle uncomfortable, inappropriate communication, cyberbullying, and other technological problems that may occur. When using computers and iPads in class for school work, there are rules that must be followed in order to ensure the proper use and safety of each student and his or her privileges.

At Home AUP:
Having rules to follow in the classroom as well as at home can help a student to consistently follow the rules that are enforced. Children should understand that there are rules everywhere you go and if the rules are not followed, there will be consequences. Computer safety is very important for children to become familiar with at a young age to ensure proper use in the future. It is also important that children have basic rules at home as well.
