Note for Parents
Dear Parent/Guardian,
It
is vital for your student’s success that you consider implementing a
behavior plan, such as the one in my classroom, at your home. By doing so,
the consequences used in my classroom will be more effective the more your
child is exposed to it. This behavior plan helps prevent disruptions in the
classroom that affect other students learning. Using a behavior plan can
help make your child’s behavior better at home if the consequences are
consistent. Most importantly, it teaches them that their actions do have
consequences and provides them with methods to learn how to control their
emotions.
Under the
"Template for Parents" tab, I have provided a basic template with instructions
that I welcome you to implement or expand upon at your home. There is not
one perfect way to construct a template, however, you might use the one
provided to brainstorm and add to it. If you would like more information or
assistance in creating your own template, please do not hesitate to contact
me.
