To aid students in making good decisions related to their behavior every day and use of technology, I encourage parents to create a policy for their home that sets guidelines for expected behavior around the house and when playing on electronics. This can help students become more responsible and aware of their actions. It can also help students by providing learning opportunities when rules are broken. I have included a template that can help you get started if you choose to create a policy for your home.
