My name is Valarie Grace Quinn and my life-long aspiration
has been to become an educator. I find that this job will be humbling,
challenging, rewarding, and take a lot of patience. However, I feel with the
correct tools, I can challenge my future students and create bright-minds in
them. I believe the entire point of the education system is to make a
change. We are placing the future in these students hands, therefore we must
equip them with the right tools. I believe the first step in accomplishing
this is not asking what a child wishes to be when he/she grows up, but
instead what he/she wishes to change in the world. If we establish this
growth mindset in them at a young age, they will be unstoppable.
