Copyright & Fair Use

A copyright is a law that gives a certain person the right to decide what other people can do with the work that they created. Because of a copyright, a person's work cannot be copied.

**As a student in my class, if you commit copyright infringement, you will be required to complete the assignment again, with points taken off.

Fair use is an exception to the rules of copyright. In fair use, people can copy a small amount of a persons work for educational purposes without copyright.
