Parent AUP Template

On this page, you will find a template to make your own Acceptable Use Policy at home! The purpose of an AUP, is to keep an agreement between two people.

In my case, I am creating an AUP to keep an agreement between my students and myself. It not only keeps my students safe online, but it also covers normal rules within the classroom. In your case, you could be creating your AUP to keep an agreement with your children.

As an example, a rule that you create, could be 'I will listen to my parents when I am being told to put up my electronics.' A consequence for disregarding the rule, would be for them to have their electronic devices taken away for a few days, or however long you would like.
