Student Drop-Out Rates
Student drop-out rates have been an ongoing issues for decades.
On average, one student drops out every 26 seconds. This equates to
an average of about 7,000 dropouts per day, or about 1.2 million students
per year. While dropout rates have actually declined over the past couple
decades, they are still far too high. As a community, we should strive to support
struggling students, and do everything we can to encourage students to graduate high school.
