Recommended Children's Literature
Reading is important to a student's education. Literature means a body of written works, which means any type of home library or library is a collection of literature. Reading helps improve vocabulary, language skills, writing skills, and even social skills. In our classroom, reading is highly recommended and your child will be allowed to take home books that they check out from both my classroom and the school library. The Jonesboro Public Library is another free resource that is open 7 days a week if you would like to find more books for your child to read.
