The Little Prince
I read this book as an adult and I really wish I could have had the opportunity to read it as a child. This book is about a little prince who leaves his planet in order to learn more about the other planets. He encounters the narrator, a pilot who has gotten stranded in the middle of nowhere. They become friends. It's a very good story, and it's sad as well. There is also a movie that I have heard amazing things about, but I have not seen it yet.
