Ramona Quimby, Age 8
This book is a classic that I have known since I was 9! When I was in the fourth grade, I was in the play! Because of this, it is a book I really recommend. It features Ramona Quimby, who is just now entering the third grade and trying to navigate the world as an 8 year old.
Children who are Ramona's age (or even younger and older!) can really relate to her situations. She has to figure out how to fit in while staying true to herself, deal with family struggles, and overcome thoughts of her teacher not liking her. Students who love this book can read a loooot more books about Ramona because there are so many!
