Coraline
This is a good book for kids that love Halloween. It is a spooky read and not for kids who scare easily. This is about Coraline and her journey to save her parents from the clutches of The Other Mother! Coraline thinks her life is boring, but after she gets introduced to the Other World she realizes that her life might not be as bad as she thinks.
There is also a fantastic film that goes along with this book! It's a bit different from the book, so it'd be great for kids to read and watch and point out the differences.
