Etiquette is how you act in certain situations, for instance, you should be on your best behavior when you are visiting someone's home, you should be polite to all, respect your elders, etc. Etiquette is the set of rules or standard that you follow. Digital Etiquette is no different, it is the standard you follow when using digital devices, whether it be online, or in the classroom. You can do alot of things on the internet, but that doesn't mean you should do everything on the internet. The internet can be very dangerous. On social media you should not post rude comments, just as you would not be rude to your boss or parents at home. This can go in hand with almost all of the other elements. |
