Digital Access is the whether or not an individual has the technology to use. Do students have acess to technology at both home and school? In the changing world, technology is becoming more commonly used in the classroom. As a teacher I would love to have students go home and have all their homework material posted on my website and the can complete it online and turn it in online as well. Its a lot less paper to worry about that way. However, not all students have a computer or tablet to complete said digital homework. Even if students can take school issued technology home to use, what if they don't have access to internet? Both teachers and administrators need to be aware of this and adapt instruction and assignments for those who do not have digital access. |
