Online Safety

Everyday people are tricked into giving up personal information on the internet. With that being said, be careful in everything you do on the internet. A good rule to follow it to remain as anonymous as possible. This includes the following information:

-      Your full name

-      Photo

-      Current location

-      Home address

-      Phone Number

-      Social Security Number

-      Any Password

-      Names of family members

-      Credit card numbers

Avoid Messaging Strangers, as it easy to get caught up in cyberbullying or even more dangerous situations. If you use social media, only follow or befriend people you actually know and have met. Above all be responsible, the internet is a big place, it can be a blessing but it can also be a curse.

If you have an email, never open anything from someone you don’t know, it might contain a dangerous virus. If you don’t recognize the sender, delete it without looking at it.
