Child Abuse/Neglect
Child abuse and neglect are actions that occur outside of school grounds. Even though these actions do not occur on school grounds it is still my responsibility as an educator to report when I feel as if these actions are taking place. There are signs that I am taught to look for and if a student of mine is likely a victim, then I will follow the protocol that is required. Child abuse and neglect happens a lot more often than most people would like to think, and that is why I am raising awareness for this issue.
