News O Matic is a daily newspaper for young people. Five new articles are added each day. News O Matic continuously offers news articles, covering a vast amount of subjects for various reading levels. The app also provides quizzes, reads to users, and games. Readers can react to the news by writing or drawing. Three different reading levels are available to readers to choose from. Students as well as teachers can create an account.

Impression of the Software

We think this is a great app for students. It can be adapted in the classroom or also suggested to parents to help youth explore various topics. I enjoy the vivid colors of the app. Many students are drawn to fiction, but this app can help promote news articles and works of nonfiction. Current events are something students should be learning more about at a younger age and can do so through this app. Encourages reading.

Pass APPS

To discover and learn this app passes the apps test. We love how this begins students on the path to understand current events. Many areas of education and being met, reading, current events, writing skills, search skills, testing their knowledge, etc. This app is for 6-14 but as adults we enjoyed it just as much. This might be where we decide to get our news from. The colors are fun, and some articles are read aloud creating a world of multimedia.
