Online Safety:

We have several rules set in place to ensure classroom safety while using the internet and various technology outlets.

I have also linked two websites that lay out what it means to practice online safety

Students are only allowed to be on the computer or ipads when given permission by the teacher.
When using the ipads or computers, students are to stay in their designated technology areas.
Students are only allowed to use the ipads or computer once all classwork is completed.
All technology is to be turned completely off and logged out once students are done with the ipads or computer.
Students are only allowed to be on pre-approved websites.
Cyberbullying is not tollerated under any circumstances.
The use of the internet can only happen with supervison from the teacher.
The use of social media and messaging within the classroom is forbidden.
The settings of the computers and ipads are to be left as default.
