Digital Communication and Collaboration
Children tend to watch parents on a day to
day basis. In the world today, many people communicate through social
media, text messages, and phone calss than they do in person. Digitial
communication is the electronic exchange of communication. Through
social media, people are able to keep in touch with family, friends,
coworkers, and associates. Sometimes people are more comfortable with
talking through digital communication than in person conversation.
Students who struggle with communication skills sometimes will blossom due to digital communication. In today's society, children are obsessed with Youtube and watching other kids interact with toys or people. By watching those interactions through Youtube, students might feel comfortable enough to make those same type of interactions in the classroom. |
