Rules and Consequences

Classroom Rules

1. Be kind to Ms. Awtrey and classmates at all times.

2. Listen and follow directions.

3. Behave in a safe manner at all times.

4. Keep all body parts to onesself.

5. Be honest and respectful.

6. Be fair and patient.

7. Do not leave the room or adult supervision without permission.

8. Raise hand in class discussion to speak.

9. Work together in small groups.

10. Try your best before asking for help.

Consequences

Violation of classroom rules will result with one of his or her pinned letter being pulled from his or her prized word, which they can earn back for good behavior. Each week, each student will start with the same word with the same amount of letters, by the end of the week if she or he still has all of his or her letters they will earn a prize from the treasure box. They will also bring home a conduct log with their actions written down, this log will be expect back with a parent’s signature.

 

In our class room, we will have the privilege of using technology resources, such as iPads and computers. These resources will be used for appropriate games, virtual lessons, assessment programs, and other educational purposes. The internet will also be a tool in our classroom, but without understanding of these rules will not be used. My students must understand that privileges can be revoked if the following rules are not followed.
