We use an Acceptable Use Policy inside of our classroom and believe it would be beneficial for parents to use at home as well. This Acceptable Use Policy is a way for students in the classroom and at home to obtain the same routine. I am encouraging you are parents/guardians to use an Acceptable Use Policy for your child(ren). This way inside the classroom they understand and accept the rules and if they break them the consequences as well as at home. 

I have attached a template that should make it easier for your child to transition from home to school by setting some rules and consequences at home. I encourage you and your child to fill this template out together that way they are aware of the changes that will be occurring. This is a wonderful way for both you and your child to be on the same page with following a routine on the daily at school and at home.
