At Home AUP
In my classroom, we have an acceptable use
policy (AUP) to allow students to know what is expected of them. I have made
a similar template for you to implement in your home, should you choose to
use it. It is by no means mandatory, but I do encourage it. The purpose of
the AUP is to make rules and then sit down with your child and go over the
house rules and consequences for breaking them. This way your child will
know what is always expected of them and be held accountable for their
actions. I recommend you hang it on your fridge or somewhere your child will
pass often, so your child will see it and be reminded of how they are
supposed to behave. I hope this benefits your family and you have success
